Everyone enjoyed the book and the average score was 8/10. The book was quite a gentle read but there were a lot of serious issues addressed in a fairly light-hearted way. This is a moving piece of fiction. Harold Fry surprises himself and his unloving wife by walking the length of England in an accidental quest to make good the mistakes and missed opportunities of his life. Some of the symbolism in the book was the walk starting and finishing by the sea. It is a story about all those things left unsaid, of all those regrets we fight daily to forget. Wonderful writing, clear recognizable characters, a story that won't leave you. For the mature reader in particular, a challenge not to find something to make you at the least uneasy.
